Do Side Effects Of Oxycodone Persist For A Long Period?
I am on Oxycodone. Can the side effects last several hours? I took one several hours ago and I have indigestion and am itching, I have been on this medication for three weeks and only take it at bedtime. The indigestion is making it hard to sleep.

If you are having severe side-effects of Oxycodone then you should you consult your physician regarding substituting it with some other analgesic.
Since it is an opioid, it is not advisable to stop it suddenly as it may cause severe withdrawal symptoms. Your physician will taper it slowly so that you have fewer symptoms.
