Do Steroid Shots Taken The Same Day As The Blood Test Affect The Test Results?

my husbands wbc is 15.39 and is absolute neut count is 12.35 and ab mono count is 1.00 and ab immature count is 0.09 should we be concerned he did have 2 steroid shots in his hips the same day as the blood work and dose not feel sick at all but has lost alot of weight like 15 pounds in 2 months

His WBC count is around 16000, which is quite high.
It is due to the infection.
Kindly consult with physician and find out source of infection and require antibiotics after consultation. Kindly do blood culture and sensitivity.
