Do Sudden Palpitations, Lightheadednessa And Fainting Feeling Require Medical Attention?

I was driving today and all of a sudden I felt skipped heartbeats, but mostly sudden head pressure that got worse and worse like I was blacking out. I closed my eyes and then it just elevated itself, thank God. I could have had a crash. My heart was beating very fast when it was over, but only for a few minutes. I ve seen a cardiologist and he says it s not bad enough to do meds, come back in a year. It s SO scary when it happens. This was the worst one I ever had.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this was the symptoms near to syncope then it needs to be sent for immediate investigation and best would be CT of brain and second is EKG and ECHO these are just to rule out cerebral and cardiac disease, and common cause could be hypoglycemia hope this information helps.
