Do Tampons Cause Vaginal Infection?

My wife came back from out of town with a vaginal infection requiring a course of flagyl She stated this was common in women who use tampons, which she always has.it is of course common with women who have experienced new sexual partners also. I m I being played for the fool?

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
Tampoon when left in vagina for long time. (not being changed)..causes bad vaginal hygiene &may trurn in vaginal infection... without sex also. OR exaggarate the infection already present..
Though it's a rare possibiity -of ignoring hygiene- in a regular user..could be so in outdoors (because of haste&lack of proper wash rooms)
In short your wife can be genuine... a keen observation is needful to proove her otherwise.
*Don't be suspicious & be causious before raising any charge on her.
