i am 31 year old working as a engineer in KSA , when i came to india i drink lot of water and frequently go for urine , when i come back to KSA my friend test glouse level in bloody it comes 350 then he told me that i am a diebetic , after going to gp he gave me some tablet to cont. after 1 month i again check my sugar in empty stomach ut was 106 and after meal it was 146 , this is that result which taken when i stop taking medicine , i want to know that whether i am still dibitic or not give you suugestion regarding theis matter
Dear sir i can understand your concern in my opinion once diagnosed as diabetes its slightly difficult to get full remission but this will differ from case to case
in some cases medications can be discontinued ,But it should be done in a gradual pattern.
BY following good diet and exercise pattern its quite possible in your case since you are in 30's.
sudden stopping of medication with out doctors advise is not advisable in diabetes. i suggest you to see your doc and try discussing issue with him. even after stopping medication its advisable to check your blood sugars atleast once a month at home. regards Dr vamsi Apollo hospitals Muscat
