Do Uterine Rupture Cause Miscarriages And Does It Need Surgery?

hi, i took an ultrasound yesterday and i didn't quite understand what they were telling me but they said somehting that starts with a S and somehting about a tear in my uterus. i have had 4 miscarrages and she said that, that could be the cause. i also heard something about a tear. she also said that surgery could fix it. can you help me out
