Hi i hd my uters operation done on 2012 jan 26.After tht my doctor prescribed me Admax xt fr six months.Aftr taking the medicine i improvd a lot.after six mnths i stoppd taking the medicine as advisd by the doctor.i hv thyroid,i daily take thyroup 25mcg 1tab evryday.it showd a lot of improvment.so i stopped taking the thyroid tablet fr 3months.it effected my health vry badly.again i hv started taking th tab empty stomach regurarly.my health hs gn dwn vry badly,gettng cramps on my legs evry nw n then. Becoming slim day by day ,hair n skin hs becm vry dry n rough.i ws vry fair ,nw hv bcm dark wth black patches.hearing problem hs taken place.no energy fr anythng nt even sex.im 48 yrs old.mentally gn down vry much.i cnt take calcium tablet coz whenevr i take calcium tab in any form after 2 or 3 days i feel giddy ,gas or acid forms vry badly.i vomit etc.plz plz help me out.i cnt understand wht hs happend to me.i hate going in frnt if th mirror coz i look horrible.plz help me i will be obliged.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Thyroid medications should not be stopped suddenly. You need to get thyroid profile test done and then dose of thyroid medication needs to be adjusted according to TSH level. Regular monitoring of TSH is required As thyroid hormonal variations are common during this age.

Your symptoms of mood swings and problems are related to menopausal changes due to hormonal variation. You can take Hormonal replacement therapy consulting your gynecologist.
