Does 25mg Apo-sertraline Cause Any Side Effects?

I have been depressed for months. I like to take 25mg of apo-sertraline but my doctor said it probably will not help. said, take it for 4 weeks and see how you feel. is this medicine the right one in my case? I am afraid of side affects and starting it as I think I will not feel normal. please, give me information. thank you.

Apo-sertraline contains sertraline and it is a effective antidepressant. Minimum therapeutic effective dose is 50 mg rather than 25 mg and can increase upto 200 mg. First take drug in sufficient dose and for six weeks and then try to shift to another drug. In case, you need further help, you can ask.
