Does 3 Small Spots On Right Breast In Mamogram Report Signify Cancer?

I am a 47 year old. I had my first mammogram last week. i got a call today saying they found 3 small spots on my right breast. I am terrified. The other articles I read only talk about 1 spot. I was told three. What can i expect now? Is this a true sign of cancer?

The spots on the Mammogram need to be qualified further. They can be graded from BIRADS 0 to 6. Based on the BIRADS score the risk of malignancy varies.
Not all spots seen on mammogram indicate a breast cancer. So you need to consult with your surgeon and take an informed decision after looking at the possibilities.
