Hello. I am the foster mother of a 17 year old girl who is on Adderall and she is taking her prescribed dosage. She is experincing anxiety about sleeping, feeling she can t wake up. She describes it as in my head I am awake but I can t wake my body up. No other symptoms. She has been in the foster system for 5 years and is almost 18 years old. I am thinking it may be anxiety regarding being close to aging out of the system. I don t want to ignore a physical debilitation but my gut says it is psychological.
