Does Ameloblastoma Evaluation Leave A Scar On The Face?
My 17 year daughter has to have an evaluation of an Ameloblastoma. What does that consist of? Will it leave a scar on her face? If so, is there another way to avoid a scar? How long is the recovery time? Is it very painful? A concerned mother Kellee
Ameloblastoma is a tumour involving upper or lower jaw and it is generally originated from tissues that forms teeth or is said to be of Odontogenic origin. It will leave a scar or not depends upon what kind of investigation is being carried out or I'd otba surgery to remove the ameloblastoma.. Also whether it is in upper jaw or lower jaw? So all these parameters I would like to know to advise you appropriately.. It can be painful initially but can be well controlled with painkillers.. So please send me the details and upload her investigation reports so that I can advise you appropriately.. Do not worry as it is commonly harmless..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
