Does Amiodarone Cause Sun Allergy?

Thank you! Is sun allergy a common side effect of amiodarone? I take 200 mg. tab. each morning. Used sunscreen, and had hot, red sandpaper rash that was extremely itchy. No blisters, but did peel. The only medication that I can think of that has changed is amiodarone. Thank you for your help.

yes amiodarone can cause sensitivity to sunlight.use sunscreens, appropriate clothing. once your treatment is over it will subside.
