Does Amox TR-K CLV Help To Cure Sinus Infection?

I went to the doctor for a sinus infetion. I have had many infections over the years and Augmentin is the only thing that worked. that is what I told the docltor. When I got home I realized my prescription is for AMOX TR-K CLV. I don t think that is Augmentin. Can you please clarify?

Augmentin contains Amoxycillin and clavulanate potassium combination.
AMOX TR-K CLV is the generic name for Augmentin itself. augmentin is a trade name (based on company manufacturing it) of AMOX TR-K CLV itself.

It is the same drug dont worry.
