Does Amoxi Clav Cause Excessive Sweating?

my doctor diagnosed me with bronchitis, gave me a prescription of 825mg of amoxi clave? I feel much better and have taken all the tablets but now when I'm at work I sweat profusely, I have a digital thermometer and my temp is normal, just lots of sweating. I'm a white male, 52, good physical shape

Can understand your concern..

As per your complain excessive sweating can be a side effect of Amoxi clav , although not commonly seen but it can be a side effect.

Amoxicillin +Clavulanic acid is given in case of infections in which clavulanic acid improves the action of amoxicillin as well as in case of bacteria which are not susceptible to amoxicillin alone.

If you find the excessive sweating disturbing along with other side effects like lethargy, rashes, breathlessness etc you should immediately consult your doctor and explain the immediate symptoms so that he can change your medicine.
