Does Amoxicillin Affect Bowel Movements?

Amoxicillin was prescribed to me by my Periodontist, after deep scale cleaning. I ve noticed, after I started taking it, that even though my stool has NOT changed colors, it comes out in balls now. Could this be a side affect that is not on the list? I was also told by a Friend that I should eat yogurt while taking it to replenish the good bacteria. The only other side affect that I have noticed is Less appetite. Thanks in advance for your answer. Jean Clyburn

That can cause diarrhea, and it can kill the normal colonic flora and leads to C. difficile induce diarrhea.
