Does Amoxicillin Have Aspirin And/or Blood Thinners In Its Composition?

I will be going in for a biopsy and the doctor told me not to take anything with aspirin and blood thinners in it. My dentist has put me on Amoxicillin. Does Amoxicillin have aspirin and/or a blood thinner in it? My email address is YYYY@YYYY

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

The answer is no. Amoxicilin doensnt have such ingredeints and also it has not been proven that it has some effect on coagulation and blood thinning. So it is safe to have any type of procedures while on this or any other antibiotic. You should not take aspirin, martefarin, clopidogrel and similar medications. Also, some recommend not ot take nonsteroid painkiller Ketorolac since it ay have some minor effect od coagulation.
