Does Anesthesia Affect The Heart And Kidneys Condition?

I had HIFU procedure on my prostrate to get rid of cancer. After the procedure, I have problem of urine leak from time to time. My urologist says that it is due to some tissue in my bladder which he is going to remove. He did that one time while I was awake; it was quite uncomfortable so he is going to do it under anesthesia. My question is how safe is anesthesia and also it has any adverse effect particularly on kidneys and heart. Thank for your insight.
