Does Asacol Cause Fluctuation In Blood Sugar Levels?

my hsb blood sugar levels recently have been rising . am fasting levels of 140-190. his current meds are Tricor, Dulera,lisinopril,montelukast,phentermine,Kombiglyze, Asacol, omega-3 fish oil, and testosterone injections. could the Asacol be causing this change in his blood sugar levels.His previous levels were normal and his hgb A1c was normal. Last week his hgbA1c was 8.1 and a urine dipstick at a physical was 500

Hi,

Asacol cannot raise blood sugar, actually it is opposite it can at most reduce sugar levels. By seeing all meds, it seems like BP is also problem or lipids are also raised, but hba1c shows diabetes so needs treatment, how old is he? He should take life style changes too by practicing yoga along with above meds is helpful, breathing exercises as they have very good effects shown in many researches. Antioxidants are helpful, healthy food good sleep along with nutritionist and meds can prevent these diseases.
