Does Augmentin 1000 Duo Intake Result In Strong Urine Odor?
I have been on augmentin 1000 duo for 3-4 days and my urine smells very strong, even when clear. Is this a common side effect of amoxycillin? Because I am scared I have a urinary tract infection, which had a similar sort of strong odour effect on my pee.

As an Urologist, i can understand your anxiety.You should write your age.
Amoxycillin doesn't cause strong odour in urine.
You should drink about ten to twelve glasses of fluids daily.
Drinking less than eight glasses liquids a day in adults,may lead to an odour.
The best antibiotic to take in urinary infection, is a quinolone.
