Does Azithromycin Affect The Menstrual Cycle?

Hi im currently on my menstrual cycle and I have to take the antibiotic azithromyocin and I wanted to know would that affect its purpose or my period ? Also I ve taken this antibiotic a while before for something . So would that affect its purpose of working or no?

Azithromycin doesn’t have any impact on menstrual cycle it doesn’t cause any menstrual irregularities and you can safely take azithro even if you are menstruating.
