Does Bisoprolol Combined With Ramiplus Help To Reduce High BP Without Any Side Effects?

hi-i come from Germany- i have continuous HBP high blood pressure - and because the beta blocker bisprolol only reduced the heart rate but NOT the HBP my cardio specialist prescribed ramiplus al 5 / 25 mg. Since this med cobtains lactose. It does not agree with me. I have a lactose intolerance with very high flatulence etc.--So the question is, will bisoprolol combined with ramiplus help ? Or should I continue taking biso ?
