Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

CCL can cause several symptoms and bruising is one of them. This happens due to decreased thrombocytes (platelets) in blood. You mother might need to do a CBC (complete blood count) that checks for the level of thrombocytes and other cells in the blood and a thrombocyte count as well.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,
Antoneta Zotaj, MD
