Does Cialis Cause Mood Swings?

Hello ! Thank you this is amazing I have a few quick questions my Husband is 48 he has a high count of red blood cells which is monitored by lab work - he every once in a great while has to go to the Clinic/Hospital to have blood letting done. Due to a higher red blood cell count of the blood is thick so he is suppose to take a once a day 81mg aspirin. Probably the last few weeks if he is telling me the truth he has not taken I told him it is very important he takes. I also administer a testosterone shot every 2/3 weeks as we follow a routine schedule to know when the next shot is due. He also takes a 1 tab a day Cialis tab to help w/a better urine flow along w/1 but was suppose to take 2 tabs daily of Allpurinol to control gaut. I don t know if my spelling is correct but I will try sorry my concerns are yes he is going this week for a scheduled appointment to see the Urologist however on & off not every day or every week he tells me he gets a headache which we all get however he daily is under extreme pressure running a 40 plus employee company. He just told me the last 3 days he has had a nosebleed like 3 within like 3 days if he is telling me the truth. He said the flow is light to I would say medium - I have not seen. I know his Mother has high blood pressure, diabetes & has had a kidney transplant which that went well. His Uncle passed from kidney failure which is his Mothers brother. My Husband when stressed also says his chest feels little tight I think he stresses his self out to get this feeling plus the blood is going to have to pump through the heart harder because its thicker geez that s why we take aspirin right ! So my overall question to you is could the nose bleed which his mom use to get heavily be a warning sign of HIGH BLOOD PRESURRE/HYPERTENSION ?? My Husband is the type of patient who will not tell the Doctor everything - he has also been very irritable over everything that makes not always a lot of sense most days are good but he just gets very moody that no one wants to be around I m trying to ask you discretely so any advice would be appreciated ! The Cialis is also new to his system within the last 1 year I read it can create mood swings too but they did exist before just maybe a little more like the last 3 years. Thank you kindly I greatly appreciate your thoughts & Medical advice.

Hi,

Your husband should get his blood pressure checked. Most of people suffering from hypertension do not realized it because most of times it does not cause any significant symptoms.

Extremely high blood pressure can cause headache, however Cialis can also cause headache as a side effect. it is one of the most common side effects of Cialis. My advise is to visit the primary care provider and get blood work done. They measure blood pressure in every visit so if your husband his having high blood pressure, it will be detected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
