Does Clindamycin Tablet Cause Frequent Urination?

I have been prescribed by my Dentist Clindamycin capsules (CLINDATIME 300) ANDeMANZEN D. After taking the medicine for three days I find passing Urine have been increased considerably. Yesterday night I had to go to toilet for passing urine more than 10 times. Is it due to the effect of these medicine. A Sengupta

All medications have potential side effects that may or may not occur.

Clindamycin is not known to affect the frequency of urination so you may need to consider visiting your doctor for another possible cause if it continues.

Increased urinary frequency can be due to: (1) increased fluid intake
(2)infection
(3)diabetes mellitus
(4)side effect of medication
(5)urinary incontinence
(6)interstitial cystitis
(7)diabetes insipidus
