Does Contrave Interact With Duloxetine, Diclofenac, Telmisartan, Trazodone And Xanax?
I am 63 and overweight, I ask my Dr. about getting Contrave, he gave me a prescription, I haven t filled it yet. I m concerned about drug interaction, here is a list of medications that I have been on for 3 years. Telmisarton, duloxetine, diclofenac, trazodone, zanax as needed once or twice a day, and low dose thyroxine. Is there a danger of taking any of these at the same time with Contrave?

Hi,
Combining duloxetine and trazodone with Contrave may increase the risk of seizures.
In addition, Contrave can increase the blood levels of duloxetine and trazodone which may increase other side effects.
Diclofenac, Telmisartan and Xanax do not interact with Contrave.
