Does Cortisone Shot Cause Weakness In Arm And Trapezoid Muscle?

I had a cortisone injection in my trapezoid muscle and one in my bursa. two days later my arm and trap muscle weakened. I couldn t lift a glass and the muscles continued to waste. I went for pt for 6 months. It helped but the muscle never regenerated. could the cortisone shot be the cause

Corticosteroids may cause muscle wasting.
Another possibility is nerve injury due to injection.

If you can provide me more information like muscle strength and a.photograph, I will be able guide better.

You should go for physiotherapy and regular exercise of the muscles
