Does Crest Pro Health Mouthwash Cause Chemical Burns?

I had my tongue pierced about a week ago. Ive been using Crest Pro Health non alcohol mouthwash. Now I have canker sores on both sides of my mouth, top gums, and bottom. Plus, two swollen cheeks. I've heard this mouthwash can cause chemical burns....any truth to that?
