Does Crestor Cause Itching In The Vulvar Region?

I am currently taking Crestor, generic brand, for my cholesterol. Since then I have developed itching in my vulvar area. I visited my doctor and was treated for yeast infection to see if that helped. That has not taken care of the issue. Can Crestor cause this reaction?

Hello! Crestor does not cause vulvar's itching, you can take it. Your problem can be caused from an yeast infection or maybe from a bacterial infection, if you have other symptoms such as colored foul-smelling secretions,pain etc. If you have these symptoms, i recommend you a vaginal discharge examination.
