Does D&C Procedure Cause Hormonal Imbalance?

My aunt was diagnosed to have simple hyperplasia without atypia, endometrial chronic endocervicits. Her ob recommended treatment with hormone pills for 3 months after which she will perform d&c to check the response. However, I fear that it might cause hormonal imbalance thereby producing another problem altogether

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

D& C does not cause hormonal imbalances.
she has simple endometrial hyperplasia without atypia so chances to develop endometrial carcinoma is very low. But for endometrial hyperplasia she need hormonal pills.

By D& C we just check endometrial histology again to check response of hormonal pills. So don't worry about hormonal imbalance.
