Does Denosumab Cause Poor Immunity?

The side effects state that Denosumab can affect your immune system--you may be more likely to get a serious infection. I have had both hips replaced and getting any infection, or putting myself at greater risk of getting an infection, that may go to my artificial joints is of concern to me. Is this something I should consider before taking denosumab injections?
