Does Depo Provera Causes Infertility?

Hi, I was taking Depo Provera 10/08 - 10/10. I have had regular periods but on a ovulation kit it's all Negative. We have been trying to conceive for a month now. I don't understand, are my chances of getting pregnant slimmer due to DePO? What would be the best thing to do from here on ?
