Does Dexamphetamine Affect The Effectiveness Of Contraceptive Implants?
Hi, I am a 19 year old girl and considering different types of birth control. I can t have the injections due to a history of depression, but I am open to other hormonal methods. My one issue is that I am on dexamphetamine, 10 mg daily. Will this affect the effectiveness of options such as contraceptive implants in my arm or hormonal IUDs?

I really appreciate your concern, very sad to say that in such tender age you are having depression and using hormone medicine for no good reason you have to go long way of life so better stay away from depression and hormone medicine and find some healthy way for these, hope this information may helps, take care and have a nice day.
