Does Dexilant Cause Adverse Side Effects In The Long Run?

I am concerned because I have been taking Dexilant 60 mg. capsule for heartburn for two years and now there is a lot of bad information coming out about Proton Pump Inhibitors. How should I handle this? Should I try to change to another type of drug? I am an 80 year old woman in reasonably good health otherwise.

Hello mom given from my opinion I suggest you continue with your current medication provided at the moment you are not exhibiting any side affect. Statistically the proton pump inhibitors have not proven to be handful in a wide population
