Does Epilex Help Treat The Convulsions In The Brain?

hi,my son today morning had a eeg and the doctor said that there are signs of convulsions on both parts of brain.he asked for epilex syrup for 2 to three weeks and after that recommended for check up and eeg.will the epilex syrup works in all these cases and whether there are any trianculisers added in this syrup?
