Does Eptoin Taken After A Minor Skull Fracture Cause Nausea And Vomiting?

my mother had a minor fracture in her skull last month on 17th Jan, 2017 but she is fine now, no loss of memory is there. She is advised to take Eptoin 3 times a day. But she is continuously have a feeling of dizziness and sometimes vomiting as well. So should i stop the medicines?

Hello

Taking eptoin causes many side effects like nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, tiredness, difficulty focussing, decreased coordination, constipation, stomach pain etc. However kindly note that you can not stop the medication without consulting your doctor since she has been taking the eptoin for many days. Stopping the eptoin abruptly can cause seizures.
If she is having any allergic reactions like skin rashes due to eptoin, kindly consult your Doctor so that he can prescribe alternative medication.
