Does Evoxac Interact With Diovan, Lipitor And Coreg?

Hello, I just started taking Evoxac (cevimeline hydrochloride) and my blood pressure has escalated considerably. I take the following medicines: Diovan (160 mg); Lipitor (10mg); Coreg (40 mg); can any of these be in conflict with the Evoxac? My blood pressure is hovering around 170/90. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for using Healthcare Magic.

SIGNIFICANT INTERACTION:
1. You shouldn't take DIOVAN (valsartan) and LIPITOR (atorvastatin) in the same time cause both of the drugs interfere the act of other drugs.
2. You shouldn't take COREG (carvedilol) and DIOVAN (valsartan) at the same time, because both of these drugs can increase serum potassium.

Minor Interaction:
Evoxac (Cevimeline) and COREG (carvedilol): Evoxac can increase the effects of COREG by unspecified interaction mechanism.

I would like to suggest you to meet your treating doctor for the good explanation.

Take care.
