My father was put on generic flomax to help empty his bladder and reduce his prostate. It was working well. They found ge had a heart arithmea and he was retaining water and put he on water pills a couple of months ago. He has now started peeing alot and having accidents. Does it have anything to do with the medications?

Hi

Thanks for using HealthcareMagic
Flomax helps to relieve the blockage in the prostate so that the urine can flow easier. It should not cause frequency and incontinence though everyone reacts differently to medication.
He may need to be assessed to make sure that there are no other causes. Infection would need to be ruled out.

I hope this helps.

Regards
