Does Flucloxacillin Have Side Effects Such As Heartburns?

Evening. Can you tell me if Flucloxacillin 500mg has a side effect of heart burn? I did not realise that I had to take it on an empty stomach, but I am now taking it correctly. Will the effect of sever heart burn be damaging and how long will this side effect take to disappear?. Thank you

Hi I read your query very carefully.

Yes heartburn is one of the side effects of the pill especially when taken without food.

If you take it with food the heartburn with be reduced.

The side effects should be gone around a week after the treatment if last longer call your doctor.
