Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Can Hiprex cause blood in urine. I thought I had a urine infection (menopausal issues)..... Had a urine sample done Friday as I felt pressure above pelvic bone .. like needing to urinate. Urine sample was clear, I had been taking Hiprex. Doc. said, take it over the weekend. By Sunday morning I felt like it was making my stomach raw, so stopped. Went to health shop and got probiotics, slippery elm and natural urinary cleanser. Last night still felt like I needed to urinate pressure above pelvic bone. Went to doc this morning. No bug again, but a tiny bit of microscopic blood. Waiting til Friday to see if the feeling above pubic bone is irritation. Could Hirpex caused the blood.
After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that hiprax doesn't cause any bleeding and UTI or uretheral scratch can cause bleeding. Kindly get a urinalysis and USG KUB done and consult with reports.
Hopefully this information will guide you properly.
Kind Regards Dr Bhanu Partap
