Hello,

I can understand your concern. I pill works by changing the hormone levels immediately to prevent pregnancy. Changes in hormone levels change the menstrual cycles and blood flow. So whenever you take an I pill, your cycle changes.

I pill is for emergency and accidents only. It is not advisable to take it more frequently for it causes severe adverse side effects.

I would advise you not to take I pill for planned unprotected sexual intercourse and switch to different method of contraception like condoms or IUD.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
