Does Ibuprofen Taken For A Short Period Affect Ones Health?

I had a tooth pulled 4 days ago a was advised to take ibuprofen 600mg to relieve the post operation pain. I did this on the first two days 4 times a day [ as told ] and once on the third and forth day , to enable me to sleep. It s been very effective. Thinking however that everything come at a price, I went on line to research the overall effects of Ibuprofen on health , and wasn t too happy about what I read. How much have I compromised my health by taking what I described above , should I stop using it immediately, and what , if anything can be done to counteract it s effects ?

Hi, its dr sumit even after extraction i prescribe ibuprofen in my clinic do not worry they only effect after a long term use. you may take medicine only when you feel pain otherwise start using warm saline rinses after your food it will help in healing socket and your pain will go away as socket heal.
