Does Ibuyesic Plus Reduce Fever In A Kid?
Hi my daughter is having fever since 2 and a half days - she is 17 months old and weighs 9.5 Kgs. Doctor has prescribed Her calpol syrup - 3.5 ml for fever as and when required and Ventorlin syrup for viral infection. But fever is not going after taking calpol every 5 hours or so. Now fever is upto 102.5 degrees. Request your help - should we give her Ibuyesic plus instead of calpol ?? Will that help ??

Ibugesic plus contains ibuprofen witj paracetamol.
Ibuprofen helps in reducing pain and paracetamol reduces fever.
So calpol is okay and u can use iIbugesic also but the best way to reduce temperature is cold sponging ...u can use a wet cotton towel to rub the body like chest and forehead .temperature will come down within 30 mins
