My brother is taking Invega for bipolar. Does this medication keep a person from sleeping? He seems to think that the medication isn t working for him and it has giving him innsonmia. Does it also calls a person not to have the will to move on with there life: such as the will to live or feel like there life has no meaning and they just can t deal with everyday struggles. HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Every medication has potential side effects that may or may not occur.

In some persons, invega may be associated with excess drowsiness but insomina is also a listed side effect.

It would not affect his will to live, this is likely related to his illness.

It would be best to speak to his doctor about these concerns.

I hope this helps
