Does Klonopin Increase The Symptoms Of Menopause?

I ve been on Klonopin for 20 years. I was taking 1Mg in the morning and at night.Then my Phachrist weaned me off a coupe of weeks ago to cut the pill in half for night time. Now I m only taking Klonopin 1mg in the morning. But a few weeks back I was diaoganosed with menaopause. At times I m on a roller coaster ride crying spells,anxiety,.My OB recommened Estroven Maxiumn Strentgh over the counter medicine. I ve been on this medicine for 4 weeks. Do you think klonopin plays a role in the way I sometimes feel.

Welcome to helthcare Magic. U have been taking Klonopin for a long time. And your doctor has done a good job by cutting it down slowly. As you are diagnosed with menopause, I would put my bet on menopause. Menopausal should symptoms should get better with time otherwise you should ask your OBGYN to add medications.

coming to Klonopin. I assume your taking this for anxiety. if you are having more issues with insomnia and nighttime menopausal symptoms, he can try taking 1 mg of Klonopin at night and half a milligram during the morning time. Please inform your doctor before making any changes so that he is in the loop.
