Does Lisinopril Cause Dry Cough And Persistent Headache?

I have had this dry cough and slight headache for a week. My mom told me it could be a side affect from my medication Lisinopril/HCTZ 10/12.5. I missed a two days of taking them due to my insurance change and call to the doctor for a refill. How long will these symptoms last? Because it is unpleasant coughing in public and in the middle of the night.

Hi,

A cough is a side effect of lisinopril and other medications in this drug family (ACE family of meds) but it does not usually occur with a headache and any other additional symptoms. It is possible, if there are additional symptoms, that you may have a viral illness.
