Does Lisinopril Cause Muscle Weakness?

My boyfriend has been taking Lisinopril for about 3 years but since he had hernia surgery about 3 months ago he says he s been experiencing muscle weakness. He was taking taking 2 blood pressure meds prior to the surgery and his doctor reduce him back to just Lisinopril only and his blood pressure has been good. Should I be concern about his muscle weakness and it worsting? Could it be being cause by the Lisinopril med?
