Does Lithium Alter The Anxiety Levels?

Hello, I have been taking Lithum C ER for about 10 years. I was misdiagnosed with Bipolar 2 according to my Internist. I have GAD, Panic Disorder and Agoraphobia. My internist of any years has told me to reduce my lithium as she says I am not Bipolar 2 but a person full of anxiety issues. I am currently taking 600mg nightly and have alot of anxiety about going down to 450mg. Will I feel any different with my anxiety reducing my Lithium?. I need to get off this stuff as I have had thyroid problems and extreme hair loss. I have a hard time with change and I do not know if the lithium is helping my anxiety. I do take 2mg Clonazapam, levoxyl and premarin daily.

HI
Well come to HCM
It is better that you are not the patient having bipolar disorders but it would be more better if you were not having any functional disorders because name of the disease or classification of disease are not important but symptom really matters here, how it would be if just totally come out of this condition without the helps of antipsychiatric drugs and you can do this, take care.
