Does Loprin Cause Chest Discomfort?

my name is Asad, previously my Cholestrol level jumped to 296. now i have manage to bring it down to 214 with help of diet. i am also taking loprin 75 mg daily to thin blood. some time i feel discomfort in chest and feel that i can not breath. is this side effect of loprin or i am suffering from heart disease

Thank you for asking on HCM! I understand your concern.

Your symptoms do not seem to be related to loprin intake.

Anxiety could cause this clinical scenario.

I would recommend you to perform some tests like:
a routine blood test, kidney and liver function tests, blood electrolytes, ECG, chest x ray. thyroid hormone levels.

These tests are necessary to exclude other causes (infection, musculo-skeletic pain, lung disorders, etc).
A spirometry may be needed to evaluate your respiration pattern.

I would also encourage you to continue with your diet, which seems to be effective in lowering your cholesterol levels.
