Does Losartan Potassium Cause Iron Deficiency And Dizzy Spells?

I have been taking Losartin potassium 50mg for 2 years which has lowered my blood pressure range to 120-135 and 70-88. I m 54, perimenopausal female, 5 feet 2 inches and weigh 130 pounds. I was recently diagnosed with anemia and I ve started taking iron supplements. Otherwise I m healthy. I have been exercising (zumba, walking, weight conditioning, spinning and occasionally yoga) 4 to 5 times per week. Anemia is reported as a side effect of taking Losartin. Should I wait for the iron supplements to improve my defieciency or should I discontinue taking Losartan--and what is a good alternative? I have also experienced minor soreness in my hip joints and dizziness and fatigue which could be from the anemia..
