Does Lotrimin Interact With Lisinopril And Simvastatin?
Thanks a lot. I am currently taking lisinopril (10mg) for high blood pressure and simvastatin (10mg ) to lower my chlorestoral. Thinking that I may have gotten athlete s foot so thought I d try Lotrimin cream to treat it. Will that be ok in conjunction with those medicines? rox
There is no drug interaction among Lotrimin cream, simvastatin and lisinopril. If you are sure that you have athlete’s foot then you can keep applying Lotrimin cream. If you are not sure then consult a dermatologist for diagnosis. You can upload photo on this portal also. 1. Keep applying Lotrimin cream locally every 8 hours 2. Continue lisinopril and simvastatin as suggested 3. Frequently change your sock and shoe to avoid moisture 4. Shoes should be rotated; don’t wear the same shoes two days in a row 5. Allow time for feet to be exposed without any covering 6. Thoroughly dry the space between the toes after shower. You can use hair dryer for this purpose 7. If diagnosis is confirm about athlete’s foot then you can take fluconazole orally also I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question Thank
